The pastorat, sometimes called prästgäll is mad up of oneor sometimes two or a few more parishes (församling). In the latter case the parish in which the vicar resides is named the mother parish (moderförsamling), while the other parish(es)is called the annex parish (annexförsamling). Sometimes the records of the whole pastorat would be kept as one, wherefore it is good to check the records of the moderförsamling for persons living in the annexförsamling.
