The Nevada State Genealogical Society (NSGS) fosters and promotes interest in genealogy. Members of the Society share ideas, information, and methods on searching for data about ancestors from Nevada, the United States, and around the World. NSGS meets the third Thursday at 7:00 p.m. monthly from September through May at the Reno (Nevada) Family History Center, 4751 Neil Road. Programs at the monthly meetings explore a variety of subjects pertaining to genealogical research and promote the importance of preserving family history, documents, and photographs. Guests are welcome!
