Springfield Missouri South Family History Center

The Family History Center serves the south Springfield, Nixa, Republic, Ozark and rural areas around south Springfield, Missouri. Although there are scheduled hours for operation, a temple and family history consultant will be happy to meet with patrons at times convenient for them. Please call 417-889-2835 for an appointment during non-scheduled hours. (Leave a message.)

Open Hours:

  • Tuesdays: 9:00am - 12:00pm and 6:30 pm - 8:00 pm
  • Wednesdays: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • To make an appointment for other times, please contact the FHC in advance at 417-889-2835 and leave a message.

Closed all major holidays. The FHC will also close in the case of severe weather. The Family History Center is closed when Springfield Public Schools cancels school due to inclement weather (snow days). Closures due to inclement weather will be posted here.
