The Athens Family History Center serves the Athens, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Pike, Perry, Vinton County areas and provides access to online and microfilm resources.

Open Hours:
- Wednesday: 7:00pm-8:30pm and by appointment.
April 12-May, 17 2017 Please call to schedule an appointment as the center may not be open on Wednesday nights during that month.

- FamilySearch Catalog: This center has the ability to order any of the films and fiche available through the FamilySearch Catalog.
Databases and Software
- FHC Portal This center has access to the Family History Center Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions.
Hardware and Equipment
- Computers, microfilm reader, microfich, printer, scanner
- Unfortunately, we do NOT have a library of print books available.
