INSTRUCTIONS

1. Go to the Reviewing State and Country Topic Pages Task List page and put your name on the list for the state or country you wish to work on. NOTE: Please only choose states or countries in yellow as they are ready to be reviewed.

2. On the Task List page, click on the state or country you have chosen go to the state or country page.

3. Go to the sidebar on the country or state page and on the first link at the top, right click the link. A menu will appear. Click on, Open in new tab. This will open a brand new tab with this page.

4. Click on "Edit Source" tab in the top right corner and review the wikitext code of the sidebar.
An example of a wikitext code for a state:

TN-sidebar

An example of wikitect code for a country:

Austria-sidebar

5. If the sidebar is before the breadcrumb on the page, cut the text and paste it AFTER the breadcrumb. NOTE: there should be NO space between the breadcrumb wikitext code and the sidebar wikitext code.

Before: England-sidebarEngland Cemeteries
After: England CemeteriesEngland-sidebar

6. If there is no breadcrumb on the page, and the sidebar is there, close the tab and go back to the country/state page and open the next topic page using the same instructions in number 3.

Adding sidebars

1. Determine the wikitext code for the sidebar by going to another topic page for that state and county and clicking on the "Edit Source" tab.

2. Then, copy the wikitext code at the very top of the page. An example of a wikitext code for a state:

TN-sidebar

An example of wikitect code for a country:

Austria-sidebar

3. Go back to the topic page that needs the sidebar and click on "Edit Source" to get to the wikitext.

4. Add the wikitext code at the very top of the page RIGHT AFTER the breadcrumb. If there is no breadcrumb, list it very first on the page.

5. Once you have added the wikitext code, type in the Summary field, Added sidebar and click on "Save Page."

4. Check to see if the sidebar appears. If a red link appears, check the wikitext code and correct it.

5. Once the sidebar is on the page, go back to the Task List page and sign up for another state or country.
