Find other ancestors of Thailand (English)

The genealogy records of Thailand will make the descendants aware that where their ancestors originated, who they were, or who have a branch of kinship that tie children to it. These records are valuable and should be available for the purpose of research by the following generations. The records of the dead of Thailand are stored by the following;

• 1. The death certificate, stored in the Government agencies.
• 2. The records are made by each family, stored in their family.
• 3. Recorded in the books, found in research centers such as; the Public Library,The University Library.
• 4. Public encyclopedias such as Wikipedia or to search in the search engines of Google.

Currently, the records that the public can use to search are in section 3 and 4 (from above), which is mostly genealogy records of leaders or those who had a role in society in the past. Yet these ancestors are the originators of many last names of the Thai people. We have tried to compile a list of these people which is stored in the same place in the Family Tree ( which is an online site; https://familysearch.org/tree/ ) so that descendants will be able to add to the family relationships from generation to generation. Another option that may help in the work to create a wider gathering of family trees from thoughout the world into one family is found at http://wikitree.com

บันทึกลำดับสายสกุลของคนไทย ทำให้ลูกหลานได้ทราบถึงต้นตอหรือที่มาบรรพบุรุษของพวกเขา ว่าเป็นใคร มีการแตกแขนงสายสัมพันธ์ทางเครือญาติไปทางไหนบ้าง บันทึกเหล่านี้จึงมีคุณค่าและควรได้รับการเปิดเผยเพื่อจุดประสงค์ในการค้นคว้าของลูกหลานต่อไป บันทึกของบรรพบุรุษของคนไทยจัดเก็บไว้ตามแหล่งข้อมูลดังต่อไปนี้;

• 1.เอกสารใบมรณะบัตร จากหน่วยงานราชการ
• 2.บันทึกที่แต่ละครอบครัวจัดทำขึ้น
• 3.บันทึกในรูปของหนังสือ พบได้ในแหล่งค้นคว้าเช่น หอสมุดแห่งชาติ, หอสมุดของมหาวิทยาลัย เป็นต้น
• 4.เว็บไซต์สาธารณะ เช่น สารานุกรมวิกิพีเดีย หรือเข้าไปค้นหาในเซิอร์ชเอนจินของกูเกิล

บันทึกที่สาธารณะชนสามารถใช้เป็นแหล่งค้นหาได้ขณะนี้จะอยู่ในข้อ 3 และ 4 (จากข้างบน) ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่จะเป็นบันทึกเชื้อสายวงศ์สกุลของระดับผู้นำหรือผู้ที่มีบทบาททางสังคมในอดีต กระนั้นก็ตามบรรพบุรุษเหล่านั้นเป็นต้นกำเนิดของหลายๆนามสกุลในประเทศไทย จึงได้มีการพยายามรวบรวมรายชื่อคนเหล่านั้นเก็บไว้ในที่เดียวกันในรูปของ Family Tree (ซึ่งเป็นโปรแกรมออนไลน์อยู่ในเว็บไซต์ https://familysearch.org/tree/ ) เพื่อลูกหลานจะสามารถเชื่อมต่อสายสัมพันธ์ของครอบครัวจากรุ่นสู่รุ่น และอีกทางเลือกหนึ่งที่จะช่วยให้มีการทำงานร่วมกันได้กว้างขึ้นในการเชื่อมต่อสายของครอบครัวเข้าด้วยกันจากทั่วโลกสห้เป็นครอบครัวเดียวกัน เครื่องมือที่ว่านี้คือ (http://www.wikitree.com/)
