This Collection will include records from 1597 to 1818.

The collection consists of images of Catholic registers of inquiries of consanguinity (registres des enquêtes de consanguinité) from the Diocese of Coutances et d'Avranche. It includes both a chronological index and original inquiry records (1597-1792). Parishes within this diocese are within the boundaries of the department of Manche and the former province of Normandy, France.
