Goal of Project

This page's purpose is to help update the Categorization on the Parish pages in England, Scotland and Ireland. The goal is to change the present category that is just the county to include the parish Example:. This should help the search for these parishes be more accurate.

Steps in process

First steps to locate the parishes to be re-categorized:

1. Go to the County list you will be working:

• England Counties

  Scotland_Old_Counties_

  Counties of Ireland

1. Next click on the County you will work.. Bedfordshire
2. Under the Topic bar on the left right click on Parishes to put into new tab. Example Bedfordshire Parishes
3. Now bring up the County Category. Example

1. Final step is to edit the parish page, go into wikitext, place two brackets Example[[ ]] and paste the parish category name into the bracketts. Exapmles: Place added category to the summary on the edit page. Now save the page.
