Brief History

This Unit was organized at South Bend, Indiana, and mustered in August 16, 1862. They were at Huntsville, Alabama, and along Mobile & Charleston Railroad until July and Gurley's Tank February 16, 1865  The detatchment mustered out July 1, 1865.
