This article describes the services and resources available at a FamilySearch Centre, a branch facility of the FamilySearch Library.

We are a ward run family history centre serving the Exeter and surrounding areas. Films and microfiche can be shipped to our centre after using the following website FamilySearch.org to order them. We have helpful, friendly volunteers who are here to help you with your research.

Centre Resources

• Collections: We have various microfiche that have been previously ordered by our patrons (Note: it is always worth a visit or a phone call to insure that we don't already have what you are looking for, prior to ordering them through the Online Film Ordering WebsiteDatabases and Software.
• 'FHC Portal' This center has access to the Family History Centre Portal page which gives free access in the center to premium family history software and websites that generally charge for subscriptions. This provides free access to Ancestry, FindMyPast and the Genealogists, as well as other websites.
• Hardware and Equipment:
  • 4 computers available for booking, with 2 black & white printers
  • 3 microfiche readers
  • 1 microfilm reader
