Sons of the Revolution Library

Sons of the Revolution established a library focused on the Colonial and Revolutionary periods of American History. This American Heritage Library and Museum also has a fine collection of 18th and 19th century vital records, family histories, American military history and English genealogy as well as artifacts like General Washington’s leopard skin saddle blanket.

Since it began in 1893, donations and acquisitions have made the library well known in the western United States as one of the largest collections relating to the American Revolution and Colonial America.

Admission to the library is free of charge to the public.
