Monthly Class Schedule
All classes are held in the Training Room of the Family History Center. Please register in advance by calling the Brigham City Family History Center at 723-5995.
Tuesday April 7 - 10:00 am - Family Tree Photos & Stories, taught by Joyce Palmer
This class teaches how to upload photos, stories, and documents to Family Tree. Participants should bring photos and stories stored on a removable drive to practice using these features of Family Tree.
Thursday April 10 - 6:00 pm - Getting Started with Your Research, taught by Linda Peterson
This class teaches the basics of getting started and using Family Search and other online programs. This is the basics for anyone just beginning or needing a refresher course.
Saturday April 12 - 10:00 am - Swedish Research Class, taught by Anita Olsen, AG
This class teaches the basics of Swedish research. You will learn what records are available and how to search and read the records.
Tuesday April 15 - 10:00 am - Legacy Users Group, taught by Anita Olsen, AG
This class teaches how to use the software program, "Legacy 8". This users group will answer questions and give time to practice using the program.
Wednesday April 16 - 2:00 pm - Family Tree Beginning, taught by Mikhael Trimnal
This class teaches the basics of Family Tree from logging on to maneuvering through different aspects on the tree page and the person page. Adding information and searching will also be taught if time during the lesson.
Thursday April 17 - 2:00 pm - Getting Started with Your Researc'h', taught by Linda Peterson
This class teaches the basics of getting started and using Family Search and other online programs. This is the basics for anyone just beginning or needing a refresher course.
Saturday April 19 - 10:00 am - Family Tree Sources, taught by Susan LaVelle
This class teaches how to add sources for the information in Family Tree. Sources are a vital part of documenting your Family Tree.
Wednesday April 23 - 10 am - RootsMagic Users Group, taught by Vicki Rasmussen
This group meets the 4th Wednesday of every month. Learn more details about the RootsMagic software program and get answers to questions about this program. Beginners are welcome.
Wednesday April 23 - 2:00 pm - Family Tree Intermediate, taught by Mikhael Trimnal
This class teaches how to reserve ordinances for the temple, editing information and relationships on our Family Tree. Merging and sourcing are also taught.
Thursday April 24 - 6 pm - Danish Research, taught by Anita Olsen, AG
This class teaches the basics of Swedish research. You will learn what records are available and how to search and read the records.
