POCATELLO FAMILY HISTORY CENTER
Fall 2013 Class Update

PLEASE NOTE: Each patron needs a Family Search Account or an LDS Account in order to see your family in Family Tree. If you are unsure whether or not you have an account, please bring to the center your membership identification number (from your temple recommend or the ward clerk),and both your email user name and email password. Without them, we cannot get you signed in. If you need to create a new account, please bring this information to the center at least 15 minutes before your class so you can be ready when the class begins.

NEW CLASSES:

• Descendancy Research: Find those aunts, uncles, and cousins!  This is a great way to discover missing members of your family.
  Thursday, October 24, 7-8:30 p.m. Larry Christensen, Instructor

• Family Consultants Training will begin November 7, from 7-8:30 p.m.  Priesthood leaders and family history consultants are urged to attend the November 7 class. Additional classes for consultants will be held on November 14, 21, and December 5. We invite any ward family history consultants or staff from other family history centers who may want to join us.  Melinda Campbell, Instructor

November 6: Adding Sources from Other Sites
November 13: Adding Photos (Bring your photos and a flash drive)
November 20: Adding Stories
December 4: Using Irfanview to edit photos, Session 1
December 11: Using Irfanview to edit photos, Session 2

New Family History Consultants are encouraged to come to the center where we give you training and help you access the online training available at LDS.org.

The Pocatello Family History Center will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday from Wednesday, November 27 till Monday, December 2. We will open at 9 a.m. on December 2.
