Probate records in Washington have been kept by the county judge at the courthouse. They include wills, fee books, claim registers, legacy records, inheritance records, probate ticklers, and dockets—documents created regarding property and estates of individuals who have died.

Probate records may locate relatives, provide death dates, and identify property. See Washington Probate Records for more information.
