A parish, in the union and soke of Peterborough, N. division of the county of Northampton, 2¾ miles (N. by W.) from Peterborough; containing, with the hamlets of Gunthorpe and Walton, and the chapelry of Werrington. There is a chapel of ease at Werrington.
