Record Description
This collection of 1930-2012 church records includes records of baptisms, marriages, burials, confirmations, pre-marriage investigations, and other miscellaneous archives from the parishes of the Catholic Archdiocese of Maracaibo in Venezuela. In Latin America, two or three generations are often indicated in church registers, along with their birthplaces or residences. If, however, earlier generations are not listed with the relative or ancestor selected, try searching parishes located within a close proximity.

Search the Collection
To search the collection you will need to follow this series of links:

⇒ Select the "Estado" category
⇒ Select the "Ciudad o pueblo" category
⇒ Select the "Tip de registro y años" category which takes you to the images
Look at the images one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
