Brief History

The 2nd Regiment, Enrolled Missouri Militia Cavalry was enrolled on 1 August 1861. They were mustered between 3 September 1861 and 9 September 1861. The regiment was discharged on 19 September 1865. The Colonel in charge was Colonel Lewis Merrill.
