Brief History
Members of the 1st Regiment of the Missouri Confederate Cavalry were mustered between 5 December 1862 and 5 February 1863. They were led by Brigadier General N. G. Slack, as well as Colonels John Q. Burbridge and Robert William Swinnery.[1]
