  • Ham's Regiment, Mississippi Cavalry
    Oganized in May, 1864, by transferring the 16th Mississippi State Cavalry along with a number of state companies to regular service.
    Surrendered on May 4, 1865. 
    Commanded by Colonel T.W. Ham, Lieutenant Colonel William P. Curlee, and Major George W. Bynum.

  • Jeff Davis Legion, Mississippi Cavalry
    Organized in January, 1862, using the 2nd Mississippi Cavalry Battalion as its nucleus.
    Commanded by Colonel William T. Martin, Lieutenant Colonels William G. Conner and J. Fred. Waring, and Major Ivey F. Lewis and W.M. Stone.
