A userbox (commonly abbreviated as UBX) is a small colored box designed to appear only on a Contributor's user page as a communicative notice about the user, in order to directly (or even indirectly) help Contributors collaborate more effectively on articles.

Installation aid

Use the following templates (see userboxtop for additional customization) in combination with the userboxes to organize them on the right hand side of Your user page. Follow the same order as show here with the exception that the "break" template can be omitted or used multiple times if desired. Close this box using userboxbottom.

Any text can be added to these templates as is shown in this example above, except for the "bottom" template. If you want extra space or text at the bottom use an extra "break" template" (omitting the last "break" template in the example will eliminate the bottom space and text).

The coding above that is maroon in color is used to create a collapsible section that can be opened on demand ("show").

Just copy and paste the coding above into your user page and then copy the template coding from the Gallery below for the desired userbox and paste it into Your user page in the desired "break" section.
