Coming Events

December 15– January 2: The Oakland Family History Center will be closed for the Christmas holidays. We will be open on Wednesday, December 14 on our normal 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM schedule. We will be closed from Thursday December 15 through Monday January 2, with our re-opening on Tuesday January 3 at 10:00 AM. Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and Happy Holidays to all!

December 15 – Films in Oakland Family History Center: If you previously ordered films that are currently in the library you should log into your on-line account at www.familysearch.org/films and check the film status. Films will not be automatically extended beyond the holidays. If the film is, for example, scheduled to be returned to Salt Lake during our Christmas closure, you will need to renew the film on-line in order to use in in January.
