Class Reminders for the Payson FamilySearch Center

We offer a variety of classes each month taught by amazing presenters. There just might be one listed below that you’ve been waiting for. Check it out; there’s no sign-up necessary.

Tuesday, April 30, 10:30 am, Gary Turner will be teaching “Doing Family History and Indexing on Your Phone.” Wherever you are, you can do genealogy right on your cell phone; simple, easy and convenient! This class will teach you the techniques needed to make life less stressful while still fitting the important things into your day. Gary has been teaching classes for 15 years. Formerly, a FamilySearch Center Assistant Director, Gary and his wife just finished serving a full-time mission in the Provo Utah Mission. You will learn how to make good use of your time if you join this class.

Thursday, May 2, 7:00 pm, Kristy Bloomer and Angelia Olson will be teaching a “FamilySearch Phone App Workshop.” This class will be a tutorial on how to go through the FamilySearch app on your phone. Bring a photo and a document you would like to put on FamilySearch. Kristy (Director) and Angelia (Assistant Director) will show you how quick and easy this process can be. These two instructors have a lot of experience with FamilySearch and they will make this class interesting and fun. The instruction you receive from this class will be very useful in your daily routine.
