The Layton FamilySearch Center reopened on Tuesday, July 6th. Our hours are Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. and Tuesday and Wednesday from 3:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. We will expand as conditions change. We are looking forward to welcoming guests back. Keep posted for updates on our website. |
The Layton FamilySearch Center offers a variety of equipment to help with your audio and media needs. Convert your VHS, audio
cassette, or Super8 to digital format. Feel free to reserve any piece of equipment you may need. Our staff are trained on the equipment,
and can assist as needed. Don't forget to bring your flash drive when you come.
Preparing for your visit
We have a few tips for you to remember after you reserve the equipment you wish to use.
- Bring a flash drive to put your digital files on after converting them.
- Bring an external hard drive if you have a lot of film you are converting. The files will be big.
