FamilyTree Descendancy[edit | edit source]

Class Description[edit | edit source]

Participants will learn how to use the New Descendancy View in Family Tree to identify ancestors who may need temple work. You will learn how to attach sources, use Research Hints, identify and resolve Data Problems in order to prepare names for temple ordinances.

Prerequisites:

  • Participants must have a FamilySearch account user-name and password.
  • Participants should be familiar will FamilyTree or have taken the Family Tree Basic Class.
  • Participants will need a pedigree (ancestor line) extending at least to the 1830s.
