History

The Pyramid Lake Reservation was established in 1874 and tribe operates under the Indian Reorganization Act Constitution and By-Laws approved on January 26, 1936 by the Department of Interior[1].

The Pyramid Lake Reservation is located in Washoe County in western Nevada, 35 miles northeast of Reno. Small portions of the reservation are also in Lyon and Storey Counties.
