Preserving Family Memories
The Sumner FamilySearch Center provides many resources to help you preserve your important family memories.
Digitize Family Photos
We have equipment to help you capture and preserve your important family memories from photographs, slides, and negatives. Use the buttons below to schedule a visit to digitize these important pictures. When you come, in addition to the pictures you want to preserve, please be sure to bring a USB flash drive to store the photos you scan.
Digitize Family Films or Movies
We have equipment that can help you capture your precious family films and movies. We can digitize video from a variety of sources. Select the option below that best matches the type of film or movies that you want to preserve. When you come, in addition to the films or video you want to preserve, please be sure to bring a USB flash drive to store the photos you scan.
Digitize Audio Tapes
The Center also has the ability to capture audio from cassette tapes and convert it to audio files that can be played on a variety of devices. Use the button below to reserve a time to capture audio from cassette tapes. When you come, in addition to the cassette tapes with the audio you want to preserve, please be sure to bring a USB flash drive to store the audio files you capture.
