Medieval Families Welsh Project
The database produced by this project includes lineage linked data for 306,738 individuals, living from about 100 A.D. to 1900 A.D. It was last updated on 3 March 2021.
This Community Trees database is in the Genealogies portion of the FamilySearch website. When you search the genealogies one of the filters is "Submission ID:". MMDR-CFK is the submission ID for this particular project. Use this link to search only the Welsh Medieval Database Primarily Nobility and Gentry Lines.
The main source is Peter Bartrum's Welsh Genealogies, AD 300-1400 (9 volumes) and Welsh Genealogies, AD 1400-1500 (18 volumes). Once the base data from these two sources is entered ten additional sources will be added.
