Brief History[edit | edit source]
The 3rd Regiment, Michigan Cavalry was organized at Grand Rapids, Michigan, August 24 to November 28, 1861. The Regiment was mustered out February 12, 1866. It was discharged at Jackson, Michigan, March 15, 1866.
