Template Usage

This template is used for collections that use a DGS (fakey) browse. The template contains two parameters:

• Page
• Completed

Page

The wiki article page that contains the Digital Folder Number List.

Completed

This parameter works the same as the Scheduled parameter does in our other templates. It's absence or presence triggers the different actions of the template. In this case it is used to indicate if a DFNL article has been created, and not if the collection is published.

Sample Code

Scheduled = Completed present

This collection was published as a DGS browse collection. The list does not contain any description of the DGS folder's content. A table listing each DGS number and its contents can be found at Denmark Census, 1906 Digital Folder Number List.

DGS stands for Digital Genealogical Society also known as an Image Group Number. Each set of digital images is assigned a DGS number for identification purposes.
