PAF and Other Genealogy Software

The Family History Department offers PAF (Personal Ancestral File) for free. PAF can be downloaded by following these steps:

  • Go to http://www.familysearch.org
  • Scroll to the bottom of the homepage and click on: Download PAF There are several other genealogy organizers available.

  • Go to http://www.cyndislist.com
  • Perform a search for genealogy software
  • Browse the result list, and visit the different sites
