Record Description[edit | edit source]

This collection will include records from 1815-1858

This collection include National Archives film indexes to compiled military service records of volunteer soldiers who served during the Indian Wars and Disturbances, 1815-1858 including individual states indexes for Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, New York, North Carolina and Tennessee for the Cherokee Removal, Creek War, Florida War, Patriot War and the War of 1837-1838. These indexes are part of RG 94 Records of the Adjutant General's Office.

Look at each image one by one comparing the information with what you already know about your ancestors to determine which one is your ancestor. You may need to compare the information about more than one person to make this determination.
