Idaho Naturalization and Citizenship
Naturalization records have usually been filed with the clerk of the U.S. District Court in each county courthouse. The records of some counties are in neighboring counties. The Idaho Supreme Court in Boise has some records from 1890.
For naturalization records after September 1906, contact the nearest office of the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service at http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis.
The Idaho State Historical Society Public Archives and Research Library has created an index to naturalization records.
Headings in the index are:
* Last name * Given name * Country of nativity * Type of record * Date
When a name in the index is listed more than once, possibly more than one kind of citizenship record exists for that individual.
