he A.B.B.E. Regional Library System (The Aiken-Bamberg-Barnwell-Edgefield Regional Library System) is headquaterred in Aiken in the basement of the Aiken County Library.  There are 14 branches  and a bookmobile associated with the system. They consist of both large and small libraries. Each library has its own hours and directors. But the ABBE Regional office acts as a central ordering facility for all branches. Branches in the ABBE Regional Library System include:

Aiken County

  • Aiken County Public Library

  • Midland Valley Branch Library
  • New Ellenton Branch Library
  • Nancy Carson Library (North Augusta)
  • Nancy Bonnette Branch Library (Wagener) 

Bamberg County

  • Bamberg County Public Library

Barnwell County

  • Barnwell County Public Library
  • Blackville Branch Library
  • Williston Branch Library

Edgefield County

  • Edgefield County Public Library
