Brief History

Organized at Camp Scott, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and mustered in October 19, 1861<br>Non-Veterans ordered to Nashville, Tennessee, September 21. Veterans and Recruits transferred to 21st Wisconsin Infantry. Regiment mustered out October 13, 1864.<br>
