- Thursdays 10am to Noon - Emerald Heights Genealogy Workshop Join us in the Emerald Heights Creative Arts Studio for a weekly workshop. The workshop is designed to help you accomplish your family history goals. We work separately and together on every aspect of family history and genealogy. Please contact Leslie Edmunds @ 1-425-443-7506 before attending your first workshop. All healthy non-contagious people 18 years or older are welcome to attend.

Hardware and Equipment
The Redmond FHC has 4 internet-linked computers, 2 flatbed scanners and 1 printer. We also have 2 large work tables and one workstation to set up your own computer or review family history documents and evidence. There are no time limits for using the computers. Additionally, we have a separate room for extra quiet or need-the-dark work. Free WIFI is also available.
Center Services
Our Staff is skilled in assisting all levels of family historians in compiling and researching their family tree. We focus on understanding your goals and providing you with options and assistance in achieving your goals.
Our family history center provides the following services:
- Buddy Service We can find a consultant or staff member who will stick with you until the goal is met. Consultants can assist you on-line, over-the-phone or face-to-face. Free of charge.
- Ask An Expert Email the3edmunds@hotmail.com with a description of your problem (include pictures if needed) and a local expert will respond with an answer.
- Find A Record Email the3edmunds@hotmail.com with a request for a record which might be found on a premium website and the staff will search for the records and send a screenshot of the information back to you. Requests should be limited to a reasonable amount. Requests are looked up on Tuesdays only as time permits.
We are also willing and able to teach one-on-one or small group classes as needed in the center or in the community during non-walk-in hours. Please contact the FHC Director to make arrangements.
