Instructions[edit | edit source]

  1. If there is not an appropriate coverage collection for either birth, marriage or death for a locality: use wording found below and list smaller collections on the problem page.
  2. U.S. ONLY: If there is not a good death index covering most of the state and dates, use the Social Security databases. NEED TO CREATE TEMPLATE
  3. Use only 1 database IF it's the FamilySearch database.
  4. You must use 2 databases, if another website has a bigger collection than FamilySearch - with FamilySearch being listed 2nd - unless there is no collection available.
