Brief History[edit | edit source]

This regiment was organized in June, 1861, at Camp Harris, Tennessee. The unit surrendered on April 26, 1865 at Chickamauga. [1]

The Civil War Soldiers and Sailors database lists 1,229 men on its roster for this unit. [1].
