When one contributor reverts content that another has provided, the potential exists for an edit war. To prevent an edit war, both contributors should review and apply the following tips to avoid disputes:

  1. Use etiqutte.
  2. Assume good faith.
  3. Be civilized in discussions

If the conflict is not resolved by applying these tips, the contributors should use Negotiation and seek to resolve the conflict by Talking with each other
