The 10th Regiment, Kentucky Cavalry was organized at Covington, Lexington and Crab Orchard, Kentucky, for one year's service, September 8 to November 11, 1862. It had an expedition from Beaver Creek into Southwest Virginia July 3-11, 1863 and to Gladesville, Virginia, July 7.
