Brief History[edit | edit source]
The 1st Regiment, Michigan Sharpshooters was organized at Kalamazoo and Dearborn, Michigan, April 14 to October 7, 1863. It was mustered in on July 7, 1863. The regiment was mustered out on July 28, 1865, Washington D. C. [1]
