The 1891 and 1901 censuses are also available to the public. The Family History Library has these censuses (1871–1901) on microfilm. At the Automated Genealogy site you will find indexes to three key Canadian censuses: 1901, 1906, and 1911. The index to the 1901 census is virtually complete, and the other two are nearing completion (note that in 1906 only three provinces were surveyed).
