Since 2005 a free national online cemetery database called Gravminner i Norge (Tombstones in Norway) has been created by members of Genealogy Society of Norway (Slekt og Data).

This database contains the following:

1. Registers of burials created from registers kept by local church administrators
2. Digitized paper records
3. Photographs and transcriptions of tombstone inscriptions

This website requires a paid subscription for full access. Some subscription websites are available for free at your local FamilySearch Center or Affiliate Library.
