Brief History[edit | edit source]

The 126th Regiment, Ohio Infantry was organized at Camp Steubenville, Ohio, and mustered in September 4, 1862. They were sent to Washington, District of Columbia, May 24-June 2.  They were mustered out June 25, 1865. [1]
