The 67th Regiment, Ohio Infantry mustered in October, 1861, to January, 1862. Organized in Ohio at large. They were mustered out December 12, 1865 at District of South Anna, Deptartment of Virginia. [1]
Companies in this Regiment with the Counties of Origin[edit | edit source]
Men often enlisted in a company recruited in the counties where they lived though not always. After many battles, companies might be combined because so many men were killed or wounded. However if you are unsure which company your ancestor was in, try the company recruited in his county first.

Company A - Many men from Fulton & Lucas Counties.
Company B - Many men from Fulton, Lucas & Wood Counties.
Company C - Many men from Cuyahoga & Holmes Counties.
Company D - Many men from Cuyahoga, Lucas & Medina Counties.
