==== Nüfūs registers (Ottoman census and population registers of Palestine) ====
Registers are arranged into 10 districts, each including cities (divided into neighborhoods) and villages in present day Palestine, Israel, and parts of Jordan and Egypt. Registration within each locality is according to religious affiliation. The records are in Ottoman Turkish, except for seven books of the Ashkenazi community in Jerusalem, which are in Hebrew. The collection also includes a catalog in English, created by the Israel State Archives (the current owners of the archives), which includes general background information about the registers, a locality index, and detailed descriptions of the contents of each register.

==== 1922 British Census of Tel-Aviv ====
In 1922, the British conducted a population census of the Mandate in the Land of Israel. At that time, the population numbered 753,048 people. For now, we only have the census that refers to the residents of Tel Aviv and Petah Tikva. Opened to the general public August 2010. This was the first census conducted by the British in Palestine. Not all of it remains. The census for Tel-Aviv includes 13,262 residents. It include names and most of the addresses. The census was found in the Historical Municipal Archives of Tel Aviv-Yaffo.
