(dura 1 hora).
Tuesday, June 18, 10:30 am, Kristy Bloomer will be the instructor for her “Workshop: Write!” If you are interested, Kristy will make this workshop well worth your time. She is the Director of the Payson FamilySearch Center along with her husband, and she is fun to be with. If you would like to upload a memory to FamilySearch and write a paragraph about it or record a memory with a photo, come prepared by bringing some photos or using them from your phone. If you would like to share and talk about your photos, we will have time to do that as well. Whether you want to just visit the class to learn or be actively involved, everyone is welcome.
Wednesday, June 5, 1:00 pm, Jim Banner will be teaching “Preserve Your Audio Memory on FamilySearch.” Jim has been a Stake Family History Consultant and a class instructor for our Center. He has been involved in genealogy for 20+ years, served as a FamilySearch Support Missionary for about 4 years, and he now serves as a Temple and Family History Consultant for the Dry Creek Branch (Orchard View Assisted Living in Payson). Memories are so important in genealogy. The more we know about someone, the closer we feel to them. Memories help us relate to our ancestors in a whole different way that helps us feel like we have actually met them even when we haven’t.
This workshop will not be zoomed.
