Brief History[edit | edit source]

The 102nd Regiment was organized at Mansfield, Ohio, and mustered in August 18, 1862. On May 23, 1865, it moved to Decatur, Alabama and had duty there until June 30. The regiment mustered out June 30, 1865^[1].
