Collection Description[edit | edit source]The Genealogy Room in the Schertz Public Library contains over 400 print materials, as well as microfilm materials. Topics are not limited to the Schertz Area. The Schertz Library also has the library edition of Ancestry available on their computers, accessible with a current Schertz Library card number. Please ask a librarian if you need assistance finding the Genealogy room or accessing Ancestry on the library computers. Services[edit | edit source]In addition to access to the print and microfilm collection, the Schertz Public Library also offers:
History[edit | edit source]The Genealogy collection is fully maintained and operated by volunteers from The Schertz Area Genealogist Group. Volunteers from the genealogy group are available to help with questions. Please contact sagschertz@gmail.com if you would like to arrange for a volunteer to meet you at the Genealogy Room to help with your research.
