+The original parish registers and other parish records, such as banns books and settlement papers, are held at Lincolnshire Archives in Lincoln. Lincolnshire Archives is the Diocesan Record Office, and it has custody of the Bishop’s Registers, Bishop’s Transcripts of parish registers, marriages licences and wills proved by the Lincoln Consistory Court. Its website includes a list of those parishes for which it holds the parish registers and/or the Bishop’s Transcripts.
