The probate records usually contain the date of probate, name of the deceased, names of heirs, guardians and trustees, inventory lists, land and holdings and other miscellaneous information.
There are indexes by farm name and by given name in most of the books. There is also a separate card index. The card index on film no. 1149120 was filmed in 1982 on 16 mm. film.
Digitalarkivet has scanned the original probate documents and placed them online.
